Our History

Andrew Beesley is one of the original founders of Low Carbon Installations Ltd. He brought with him to the company a comprehensive knowledge of the designing and installing of heating systems. The company has, through the years, embraced the ideals of those who wish to improve the way we heat and light our homes, offices, factories and public buildings. Together with individuals, corporations, local governments, and others involved in planning for an eco-friendly solution to energy consumption, we have installed, repaired and maintained renewable energy installations in domestic, commercial, educational, government and public situations throughout the country.

We have seen many changes and developments in the renewable energy industry. Many companies have come and gone as have many incentive schemes. We at Low Carbon Installations have, over time, developed skills and expertise in a wide range of renewable energy installations. From a starting point of installing solar thermal panels we quickly added Solar PV. Air and ground Heat Source Pumps have become a successful addition to our services over the past year as has under floor heating. The maintenance and repair of renewable energy installations has always been available to our customers, but over recent years it has become apparent that as a number of companies have left the industry this has meant many installations are now without any maintenance or repair cover. We have therefore extended our maintenance service to include systems we have not installed.

The company has grown in the belief that renewable energy is the future and that our customers share this belief. We have therefore dedicated our energies to expanding our skills. We have developed the knowledge to advise, design, install, maintain and repair renewable energy installations. Our history in the industry shows that we install systems fit for purpose.

Leadership

Andrew Beesley

Company Director

  • In the heating industry since 1980
  • In Renewable energy since 1996
  • Director since 2009

Andrew is not a sit in the office type of director. He is very much the driving force behind every installation. His desire to see the company he helped set up in 2009 grow into a well respected and professional business is obvious in the fact that unlike many other installers in this industry his company is still going strong.

We are a company that insists on training and developing skill sets, for all employees including the director.

Sarah E Morey

Company Secretary

A background of accountancy admin and office administration. Sarah Joined the company as Office Manager Dec 2015. Since that time she has been appointed as company secretary.

The health and safety training of our staff is of paramount importance to us and not just for legal reasons. As all the installations we undertake can involve dangerous conditions such as working at heights or in confined spaces as well as manual handling of heavy or awkwardly shaped items, it is important that our engineers are not only aware of the risk through assessments but are also trained to avoid the risk or minimise it as far as possible through training.

To achieve this we employ a specialised Health and Safety consultant Mr. M Campbell-Mills Dip.RSA CMIOSH MIIRSM to instruct and train all our staff both on and off work sites.

We are a company that practises what it preaches. A visit to our directors home would show that Solar Thermal and PV are providing his home with heat and power.

Our office building has a large array of solar PV supplying enough energy to power our needs even in a power cut.

Affiliates & Partners

We have been most fortunate to be associated with several major construction companies over the past years. Working alongside them to design and install renewable energy systems from Solar PV and Thermal to LED Lighting and Heat Pumps.
We have undertaken work for colleges and the MOD as well as a New Build for the railway infrastructure.

It has always been our policy to provide the customer whether domestic or commercial with the best advice, products and service available. This has stood us in good stead as we are given the opportunity to quote for the same construction companies time and time again.
