Is there going to come a day when renewable energy production can out strip the rest.
If the data released recently is evidential, the argument could be, things are looking good.
- Thanks to renewables the need for electricity from coal fired power stations was down 13.6% for 2016 in comparison to the previous year.
- Solar Panels supplied more electricity than coal from mid spring through to autumn.
- And in one twenty four hour period solar power totally replaced coal generation.
- Renewables scored in the 40% range when it came to supplying electricity on Christmas Day.
What more can we achieve if the government, industry, and the people put their minds to it.
